Hi
As observers of the scenery of life, we can be critics of the actions that are played by the other characters. Meanwhile, we are also characters in the show. The need for self-expression is present in everyone and is satisfied by a certain amount of effort in being seen by the eyes.
Being inside the game means experiencing true tensions among different people and being able to put words on the waves of emotions. A more robotic way of living which is based on a certain culture like the culture of a university gives people a safe set of dialogues to express being in that culture with the least amount of tension. Professional dialogues are the same. But the game gets hard when words become personal and emotions become out of the norm.
A predefined culture gives access to a wide set of expressions that can support human interactions to a certain level. Being equipped with this tool and closing the eyes to certain times that the level of communication passes a certain threshold gives the people of a society an operating system to express their inner feelings to the outside world.
Not being able to express the feelings makes the elements of the system want to deal with the problems and pointing fingers at others will be the first solution which causes a certain level of stress on everyone to the point that the system can tolerate. A few will step away from the game and deal with their own problems.
Dealing with the problem of not having enough expressions to express what needs to be expressed is like digging a mine to find a certain ore for a process that needs it. In this case the ore is the memes that help then individual get even with themselves and bring to the surface interfaces that can heal the relationships with others. Hopefully if the memes are strong it can spread to fix the culture in the large scale.
For me, all of this points at how it is the responsibility of each individual with the sufficient mental capacity to take a step back from what they are doing and examine and see how their communication and thinking can be improved. A person with this goal in mind equipped with a critical mind, a support group or a therapist can be a cultural refinery that can heal the society from inside.
