Yesterday as I was walking in the woods I was talking to the trees about how I feel about the freedom and the flow.
There is a certain flow to all there is. We grow and events shape how we behave. In an interconnected and dense world like the one in the city, the probabilities are shifted to become a narrow flow for the individuals to function as a part. This allows the city to limit the individuals but give services in exchange for money. This way it can create a more concentration on certain subjects and give the ability to people to spend a lot of time doing focused work although it is contrary to the nature.
The natural way of living for thousands of years involved a lot of movements during the day to have food, shelter, and survive. It would take so much tome and energy from individuals that made them start doing agriculture and keeping animals in farms. This way they could save time and do what is more "important"
Not necessary, but important
Things like ordering people to work and having an eye on them,
Which does not necessarily comes with wisdom, it is more of a power relation. By itself it justified slavery with no problem and humans lived and normalized it.
The next more important thing that could give an individual power over people with power was thinking.
Thinking about what is right and what is wrong and how can things be better by defining parameters for what is better.
This is not the pinnacle of the pyramid but there is a trend to it.
Like power, thinking has its own flaws.
Since the thinker in the first place is a biased human governed by the history of what has gone through his mind and chemical elements, he or she is prone to misjudgement.
And thinking alone, as deep and contemplative as it can be, may be subjected to disconnection from reality.
The way of nature is not black and white, it is filled with grey fractal shaped spirals that somehow their chaos is governed by a higher order. The same order that dictates evolution and the arrow of time. The same order who is looking to putting ridiculous amount of effort to minimize the entropy of systems in a beautiful way.
But mind can, in its own flawed way, think about the same stuff. It can take a small sample, isolate, and study the behaviours and generalize to the extent that it fits the degree of control they have.
Design becomes a fight with nature.
Starting from Newtonian laws and calculus and backing the theory and empty gaps of coefficients with empirical results, to the extent that unsolvable problems allow to be approximated numerically, mind can send a satellite to the orbit.
But is that the way of nature?
