That is what they train us for and we still developed issues with power. A very fine degree of arrogance in the eye of the one with a sharp mind competes with the vastness of perspective in the eye of the other who doesn’t pierce as much.
And the gods have designed the cages for us since thousands of years ago. Those who have to push the stone up the hill and watch it fall down, those who their liver gets eaten by the eagle and regenerates, those who are condemned for no complying with what gods want - the unavoidable part of mortality.
Are gods meant to be pleased or worshipped? How would they come to terms with us mortals to make our existence bearable?
Are they meant to be questioned or the act of questioning is a reason to be condemned for treason ?
My understanding is they feed off of our warmth, the collisions and frictions. The active surface of the organic structure they create with us being insignificant elements of it. This act brings them a sense of magnificence and glory.
