Difficulties with power

I used to say the problem with the world is the clash of religions

But now, after experiencing my difficulties in my previous job, I would say the difficulty is in communication with power.

If you want to be proper and not totally destructive, as in civilized society we are told to be, you have to communicate with power and express your concerns, and in the end accept that your ideas may or may not be accepted. It is in the hands of power to choose what to do, and the choice is internal. External factors can bias it or, in extreme cases, manipulate it, but power needs to make the final verdict. If power does not want a certain thing, resisting power may seem plausible, but it turns out to be exhaustive in the end. The reason is that power feels less and can transfer suffering to those below.

In an ideal world, power would develop the fabric of existence and allow sources of tension to have activities. The expectation would be that the sources of tension would be acting organically within the fabric of power and reshape what is allowed to be reshaped. The structure would be dictated by power.

For example, in a company, this would be allowing for meetings and talks while making sure the topics of discussions align with the higher goals of the company, and also allowing for the reality of human nature to be in the professional settings, so that people who are spending most of their time in the company can solve some of their personal issues. The ratio and how it is supposed to be done, as well as the constraints, are dictated by those in control.

In a society, this shows itself in allowing free speech and freedom of expression. This allows for artists and thinkers to shape the world around themselves towards what they think is right while maintaining their existence alongside larger systems such as the economy, education, and transport.

If all happens organically, people are allowed to listen and understand ideas or consume art and participate in shaping the evolution of the culture. Examples of this

1- A football game is an expression of tensions, expectations, fandom, excitement, fighting, etc.

2- A concert is an expression of emotions, fandom, mastery of art, creativity, etc.

3- A debate is an expression of intellectual interactions, such as fighting, understanding, reconciliation, teaching, etc.

4- A lecture is another expression of intellect, but in a different format.

and many other ways that individuals stand on their own power to reshape their surroundings to what they seek.
